Seven Projects. Five Years. A Client Who Kept Calling Us Back.
Some projects end at handover. This one didn't. When we finished the first phase of work at this Maple Bay property in 2019, the clients weren't ready to be done with us, and we weren't ready to be done with the house. What followed was five years of continuous renovation work, returning again and again to refine, expand, and improve a home the clients clearly love.
The work spanned seven distinct phases: a new deck, arbour, retaining block walls, paver patio, a master bathroom renovation, a laundry room and pantry and powder room renovation, a slab and window wall enclosure off the basement garden room, a garage expansion that upgraded vehicle access from a 9-foot to a 12-foot door, and finally a backyard woodshed renovation and expansion. Each project was its own scope, its own challenge, but together they tell the story of a home that was thoughtfully improved over time, one well-considered decision at a time.
That kind of ongoing relationship is something we value. It means the clients trust the work, the communication, and the people doing it. It means we understand the house, how the homeowners uses it, and what matters to them.
By the time the seventh project wrapped in 2024, the property had been genuinely transformed.
